Carmen Fanzone Baseball - Sue Raney Singer - 09 de junio de 2025 Carmen Ronald Fanzone (born August 30, 1941) is an American former utility man who played between 1970 and 1974 in Major League Baseball. Fanzone was a versatile and effective utility man who was able to play all four infield positions, left field and right field, playing mainly as a third baseman. Fanzone is an accomplished horn player. On June 18, 1972, he played "The Star-Spangled Banner" prior to a game at Wrigley Field. Following his playing retirement, Fanzone started a jazz music career as a flugelhorn player. Fanzone and is married to Sue Raney, a four-time Grammy Award nominee as a jazz vocalist.

Raelene Claire Claussen, known professionally as Sue Raney (born June 18, 1940, in McPherson, Kansas) is an American jazz singer. Raney was signed by Capitol Records in 1957 at age 17. That same year, she recorded her debut album, When Your Lover Has Gone, produced by Nelson Riddle. Raney sang the theme song to the 1967 psychological thriller film Wait Until Dark, starring Audrey Hepburn. Her single "Early Morning Blues and Greens" was played on easy-listening stations, peaking at No. 16 on the Billboard magazine MOR chart. She sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" at Dodger Stadium before the sixth game of the 1978 World Series. She is married to Carmen Fanzone, a trumpeter and former major league baseball player for the Boston Red Sox and Chicago Cubs.
