Al Rosen "Hebrew Hammer" (Cleveland Indians) - 26 de May de 2011
S: 5/18/11
R: 5/26/11
Address: 15 Mayfair Dr Rancho Mirage, CA 92270
Al Rosen signed my MLB baseball in blue ink and added the inscription that I asked for, "1953 AL MVP". He was nicknamed "Al", "Flip", and the "Hebrew Hammer", is a former American major league third baseman and right-handed slugger. He played his entire 10-year career (1947ââ¬â1956) with the Cleveland Indians in the American League, where he drove in 100 or more runs 5 years in a row, was a 4-time All-Star, twice led the league in home runs and twice in RBIs, and was an MVP. Rosen was extremely muscular, and had tremendous power and excellent bat control.
Rosen was a .285 career hitter, with 192 home runs and 717 RBIs in 1,044 games. He was selected for the All-Star Game every year between 1952 and 1955. Rosen appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated in 1955.

Carlos Santana (Cleveland Indians) success - 20 de May de 2011
Mailed to current Cleveland Indians catcher Carlos Santana May 2, 2011 at Cleveland Indians /
Progressive Field / 2401 Ontario Street / Cleveland, OH 44115. Included 2011 baseball card & SASE.
Rcv'd may 20, 2011 in my SASE (SASE had 16 MAY Cleveland OH postmark) my signed baseball card. My guess is that during to the rain delay Saturday May 14 he signed it and then it was put in the mail the following Monday. Of course that is only a guess, but still a welcome addition to my collection. |
