Jerry Maren (Wizard of Oz) Success! - 12 de julio de 2017
Last month I sent a letter, SASE, photo, Q&A and $10 fee to Jerry Maren. Today I received my photo back signed along with my Q&A which he kindly completed. He is 97 and the only surviving munchkin actor from the Wizard of Oz

So happy with this! Wrote to Jerry over the new year and sent a SASE, LOR, 4x6, and $10 along. Today I got back my photo signed and dedicated in my SASE...And an even better photo thrown in! This is so awesome! The Wizard of Oz was my favorite movie growing up, and I still love it now! When I heard there was still a member of the Lollipop Guild alive, I had to write him! I was not disappointed!

I read that he would sign if you use his San Diego post office box, send the pic and a $10 stipend. Not keen on paying, but my daughter wrote him the nicest letter about being a fan of 'The Wizard of Oz.' So we sent it along with items as described above. Sent 6/29/16. Received 7/18/16. He personalized the photo to her and also sent a second nicer picture, which he also personalized. Pretty cool.
