Signed my son's blu-ray cover (Keir Dullea) - October 29th, 2022
Several years ago, my son (then about 16) mailed a letter to Keir Dullea asking if he would sign the sleeve of his 2001 blu ray. He included the cardboard sleeve, a pen and a self-addressed stamped envelope. It came back a short time later, signed. He seems very responsive and gracious to fan mail. |

Keir Dullea Actor - August 17th, 2018
Keir Dullea (/?k??r d??le?/; born May 30, 1936) is an American actor best known for his portrayals of astronaut David Bowman in the 1968 film 2001: A Space Odyssey and its 1984 sequel, 2010: The Year We Make Contact. His line, "Open the pod bay doors please, HAL," is #78 on the American Film Institute's list of 100 movie quotes. His other film roles include Bunny Lake Is Missing (1965) and Black Christmas (1974). He studied acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York City. Dullea made his film debut in 1961's Hoodlum Priest, in which he played a juvenile delinquent, though he had had an earlier role as the German pilot in a 1960 television adaptation of Mrs. Miniver starring Maureen O'Hara.
Sent him 2 photos on 21 Jun and got them back signed on 17 Aug... Sent him photos from his role in 2001.

I sent a request to Mr. Dullea a few months ago, I received a large photo signed and personalized by the man himself.
Return address: the one on the envelope!
