Sent Mr. Holtz a letter, Sports Illustrated (Arkansas Razorbacks), blue Sharpie, $20, and SASE on 9/10/15, addressed to: 9202 Cromwell Park Pl., Orlando, FL 32827. The SI returned in my SASE on 9/18/15 unsigned and with a letter stating.. He has signed items like this for 40yrs, and a lot of the items have wound up on the internet... I have to say going into it, and after seeing many successes, I thought this was a HUGE long shot, being a non Notre Dame item, and his disdain for Arkansas, hence the $20. In my letter, I asked him to apply my donation to a charity of his choice. Well, at least he sent back by $20. A man of great integrity. |
