Hi all,
Im new here!
As a huge fan of Steven Mackintosh (since August 2024), I decided to write to him back in June this year and was delighted to receive a personalised, signed photo just eleven days later.
I then decided to print off a favourite photo of him and wrote to him again in November and today received it back signed, however, it got smudged in transit (it was on glossy paper to be fair).
Tempted to write again (I appreciate how busy he is!) but wouldnt want to push my luck.
Has anyone had experience of this (smudged signatures) and did you explain what happened and did you try again? Im a little gutted to be honest but these things cant be helped.

Got a great success from British actor Steven Mackintosh the other day... I was first introduced to his work in the amazing BBC series "Luther", starring Idris Elba (seriously, check it out, I cant recommend it enough). I was toying about trying to start a "Luther" cast piece because I love the show and the poster art, and then I caught "Inside Men" on BBC America, which is essentially a British four-episode version of "Breaking Bad" thats amazing. Steven Mackintosh plays the lead and is absolutely phenomenal, so I was inspired to write a letter to him. I got everything back signed beautifully a few weeks later.
